Automatic "extraction" of literature entries?
For those who are interested in the solution, which was suggested here: http://golatex.de/viewtopic,p,91750.html
Using biblatex with the backend biber it is easy to use biber with the proper output-format. After the first ordinary run of LaTeX biber is called in the following way: biber --output ...

Automatic "extraction" of literature entries?
Hello everyone,
I am almost sure that I conducted my search with the wrong search terms as I hardly can imagine that there should not be anything like this.
Here is what I am looking for: I am using one, rather large bib-file. This is convenient when working in different projects and you have ...

MikTeX Gives an Error on updating
Hey mitscay,
as you are aware, I had some difficulties with the latest MikTeX update as well. Following Stefan Kottwitz' advice, I tried to switch to TeXLive and encountered the same problem. After trying to track the problem down, I figured out that -- at least for me -- it was a problem of the ...

"Internal error" after MikTeX update -- with workaround
Thank you for the update!!
Unfortunately, this did not work out for me. Updating worked as over the previous days: the first round worked without problems, the second failed with an internal error.
I keep fingers crossed that it works out for you!

"Internal error" after MikTeX update -- with workaround
I know it is not the best solution in the longer run, but at least I got MikTeX to work again late yesterday night:
Had a fresh install of the distribution. Then I compiled my LaTeX document in order to install the missing packages. For me, the crucial point was the mismatch of biblatex and biber ...

"Internal error" after MikTeX update -- with workaround
Hello!
After the last MikTeX update the process was terminated prematurely and the distribution was a mess due to problems with the anti virus software.
Switching anti virus off, I installed MikTeX from scratch on my Windows 7 (32) machine with the latest basic MikTeX version. The installation ...

Re: Refsection -- no output
Hey Johannes_B,
thanks a lot again for your help! It seems like MikTeX has an issue (on my computers?), that biblatex is not updated automatically, even though updates exist. After two unsuccessful manual updates, I got it sorted out (manual install via the package manager, that does NOT have admin ...
