Where to save my files to be imported to TeXshop?

Hi! Can anybody tell me where do i save my jpg file in the first place (to be detected by latex) when i am using \includegraphics{file.jpg}?

The error message was: File not found.

And yes. I did include \usepackage{graphicx}.
