I'm new to LaTex so please forgive the rookie questions. I've been reading the user manual in TexMaker and do not seem to find instructions about how to change the margins (geometry?) of the document once the preamble is already set.

I'm trying to get my upper and lower limits above and below the summation sign without going into display mode, because that puts it in the middle of the page and it's too big.

Hello Everybody,
Just wanted to say High! I was using Lyx's LaTex editor which is a "What You See is What You Get" interface, so now I'm moving to winedt or TexMakerX, havent decided which to use.
