Yes, I can do that, but I would like the pdf to pop up automatically..jsut for convenience

I have a problem with creating a pdf output. I am using TeXnic Center and Adobe Reader 9.
I suspect that I defined the output profile in a wrong way. However, I cannot find my mistake. I defined the path to the executable of adobe Reader correct. The reader opens, but showns nothing, not even ...

Can you specify in more detail what you meant, when you wrote about pdflatex in stead of plain latex?
This is not a package, right?

Hi all,
I have a greenhorn problem here. I just cannot manage to include a figure in my tex document.
\begin{figure}[htp]
\centering
\includegraphics{C:/Latex/Report/name.png/}
\caption{bla bla bla}\label{fig:name}
\end{figure}
the packages i use:
\documentclass[a4paper,11pt]{report ...

thanks for the fast answer. I am new to Latex/Lyx. Hence I have problems to install the package. First of all: I am using a mac, so I don't know how to open this tar.izma file I download as the package. Where should I install this?

Hi,
I would like to change the points that start the itemizing or the numbers that start the enumerating to A),B),C) and so on. I'm suspecting the solution to be changing the nesting preferences or sth. like that. But I don't know how to proceed.
