It's a retro-computing book (programming) so I'm in no real hurry - it's more for my personal satisfaction and learning than anything. Is there a "better" way to learn LaTeX? The structure is the same regardless of size, no?

Hello / New to LaTeX

Hi all,

I'm new to LaTeX and to this forum. I recently discovered LaTeX after struggling with the formatting for a book I'm attempting to write. Microsoft Word just wasn't working, but after I discovered LaTeX, I knew it was exactly what I needed.
