PDFLaTeX reports too many open Files

Hello,

to be able to produce a List of Figures, I enclosed most of the graphics in my document inside {figure} tags. I tried it on a few images first, and after seeing there were no errors, I proceeded to do it to the rest of the graphics.

When I finished, I compiled and I got the error
pdflatex ...

What do you mean? Where do I find the log file? Is there a specific error I should look for to fix this?

Center, Centering Inconsistency

Hi,

I'm having a problem in which the images and text I enter, though of the same alignment, do not align properly. I've tried \begin{center} - \end{center} tags and \centering but both exhibit the same problem.

*also, site requires me to log in repeatedly which is utterly annoying

Hi,

I was introduced to LaTeX in class for making research papers and I thought it was really great... I'm just really having a very hard time learning it. But I think it's all worth it. I'm really hoping you guys can help me learn faster. :)
