Wow, quick response. Thanks. I ended up using the \captionsetup{list=no} command before the \appendix---that's exactly what I need. It allows me to keep referencing/referring to those figures in the appendix but not have them listed in the lof. Again thanks to both of you.

I have figures in my Appendix which include captions and thus are automatically collected and entered into the list of figures. I do not want the figures in the appendix to be listed (everywhere else is fine) and I can't seem to find a way to suppress content/figures from appearing in the list of ...
