Thanks cgnieder. I tried your code on TeXCenter -no luck. In fact it creates a file which uses up all of the CPU!! I have to delete it.
First thing to notice is in \documentclass{amsbook}
\usepackage{makeidx} doesn't work
There is a clash
in
\documentclass{book}
no clash but still no index! In the ...

Feynman and Dynkin Diagram Packages
Can anybody recommend suitable Feymann and Dynkin diagram packages to use within TeXCenter? How do I incorporate them into TexCenter?
