I'm using the font 'computer modern bright' (see http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/help/Catalogue/entries/cmbright.html ) for my dissertation. In the preamble I have

\usepackage[T1]{fontenc}
\usepackage{cmbright}

Computer modern bright is a scalable vector-oriented font (also according to the manual ...
