Dear Frabjous,
thanks for your reply.
In the meantime I have found a solution which is similar to your suggestion, but even easier. I just wrote:

Re: IMSART in combination with appendix package
Hi Juanjo,
thanks for considering my question. I have created a minimal working example which shows that on the second page (not appendix) the author's name and the paper's title appear in the headline while on the third page (appendix) both have disappeared.

IMSART in combination with appendix package
Dear Latex-Community,
I am using the imsart package. In that package, with the \runauthor-command one has to specify how the author's name appears in the headline of every page. However, I use the package in combination with the appendix package, and unfortunately in the appendix of the paper the ...

Excel2Latex problem
Dear Latex Friends,
when I use Excel2Latex, it says "Can't find project or library" after I pressed on the conversion button. The window in which the latex code should appear says "Generating Table. Please wait...", but nothing happens. Any ideas what's the problem?
Thank you and best regards ...

Re: Changing Size of the \appendixpage headline
Hi Stefan,
many thanks for your reply. As always, your suggestion solved my problem perfectly. Just adjusting the fontsize through the \renewcommand was a simple idea and did not demand me to change anything in the appendix package code.
Best regards,
Florian

Re: Latex makes a line break in an email address
Hi Stefan,
many thanks for your helpful reply.
I guess you are right, my minimal working example was not optimal.
Your "mbox" hint was great and solved my problem!
Best,
Florian
