Create a timeline Topic is solved

You can use custom intervals. Here is an example: \documentclass[a3paper]{article} \usepackage[landscape]{geometry} \usepackage{tikz} \usetikzlibrary{timeline} \pagestyle{empty} \begin{document} \begin{tikzpicture}[timespan={}, font=\sffamily] \timeline[custom interval=true]{Months 1-3, Months 4-6, ...

Newbie help with order of apperance in Bibtex Topic is solved

Perhaps it's because you forgot the comma in the code of the previous post aftert bibencoding=utf8 and before sorting=none so biblatex cannot understand the option.

Newbie help with order of apperance in Bibtex Topic is solved

Don't load biblatex twice, but add the option to the existing \usepackage command: \usepackage[backend=bibtex, bibencoding=utf8, sorting=none ]{biblatex} I did not edit the command above in my post but used ... since the code in the question was just a screenshot image, not code text that I could co...

Newbie help with order of apperance in Bibtex Topic is solved

Hi Calypso,

welcome to the forum!

You could use the sorting=none option:

  1. \usepackage[sorting=none, ...]{biblatex}

Adding new symbols to texmaker

You could define your own shortcuts (macros) in the code. That's independent of the editor, and may shorten both writing and reading. And you can redefine such macros any time, for example if you would decide to change the actual quote sign (font) or double to single or straights. \documentclass{art...

on save file set to no other access

Hi,

welcome to the forum!

Perhaps add a chmod 644 * command to the backup script, or to a cron job that runs every day. At least I'm not aware of a LyX feature for that setting.

Vertically centered text in the table

Centering by cell would destroy the alignment of th text baseline in a row. Some cells have letters with decenders, such as p and g. Seo we have different text heights but with the same base line by default.

Include whole the word by hyperreference Topic is solved

Hi,

do you have code that can be tested? Like a reduced document code copy, that shows the issue. With those few lines I cannot verify the issue.
