Hello everyone,

I'm currently writing a thesis and tweaking the biblatex-ieee style to adjust it to my thesis' director's will. He knows *precisely* what he wants. Anyway, I've received help and a lot of progress has been made.

There's this one thing though.... Does any of you know what to do to ...

Hey everyone!

I'm currently writing a thesis in French and need to use a very specific bibliography style. I think I've found it but it turns out that biblatex won't let me use it...

Here is what I was previously (and successfully) using:

\usepackage[style=verbose-trad2,backref=false,hyperref ...

Fantastic! I guess it's not too far from my second message but I had no clue you could filter before printing. Great! Thanks a lot Meho_r!

Ok, I've been thinking. Maybe there's a way to add a field to all bib entries. In that field, 1 would indicate that the ref is to be printed, 0 that it should not.

Any idea on how to do this? Is that even possible?

After successfully switching from natbib to biblatex, I managed to have my citations in footnote and that works amazingly well!

Now, here's the new problem I haven't been able to solve.

In my bib file, there are major books and articles that I've read and want to see appear in the end ...

Problem solved!

I had gotten in touch with the "latex expert" of the University some time ago and he eventually came back with a solution! (see link in OP)
