Hi all,
I recently found how to hyperlink to a folder using Lyx. Everything was working great until I got to work where the default PDF reader is Adobe Reader.
It looks like all hyperlinks with extensions (i.e. .pdf, .xls, etc.) work but none of the folder hyperlinks do (with Foxit Reader ...

I found the problem. It appears that you have to enter slashes into Lyx instead of backslashes like you see when using windows explorer.
EX: In order to access C:\Users\Jordan\divers\Curriculum vitae on your computer by a hyperlink you have to enter C://Users/Jordan/Divers/Curriculum ...
