The hyphenation is working better after I added both of your suggestions. I will teach Lyx all other words with the /hyphenation{} command

I'm a new Lyx user and I recognized something weird, when I exported my document to a pdf. The table numbering is different from the one in my document. While Lyx counts correctly (table 1,2,3 and so on) the pdf shows odd numbers (table 1,3,5 and so on)... so table 2 in my document ...
