thanx for this. I tried this code but it did not work. I tried to fix the error but new errors generated and at the end I had to leave it because I could not find an end to the errors. However, Im thinking to try it on windows. May be it work there. Earlier I tried it on Linux.

thanx for directing me to the relevant package. I read about it and downloaded the arabtex package. But when I started to compile its example file I got an error: Arithmetic overflow. I do not know how I may fix it. This error is for the text contained in \begin{arabtext} and \end{abarbtext}.

Hi,
I use glossaries package to display glossary. Its work fine. But I want a rather different display to the default display. I want to add ":" or "-" after glossary entry but not in the main document.
For example.
CCTV Closed-circuit television
I want to display it as:
CCTV: Closed-circuit ...
