UPDATE: This was solved by installing the latest version 1.6.9 using the standard installer. I had originally installed using the altermative windows installer, which includes version 1.6.8

I keep getting this error on all my files..I am using a brand new install of miktex, lyx, etc.

I just performed a brand new install of lyx, miktex, etc. on a vista machine sp3.
