Wrong Margin in PDF

Post by laksathish »

hi all,

I have created PDF from a LaTeX file with customized class file, but the PDF margins are wrong though it is correctly defined in the class file.

Below is the margins defined in class file:
Top - 47em
bottom -
Left - 45em
Right - 45em

Below is the wrong margin coming in the PDF:
Top - 55.5em
bottom - 44em
Left - 42em
Right - 47em

Could anyone help me sort out the issue.

Regards,
S

Wrong Margin in PDF

Post by localghost »

For an adequate problem description please prepare a self-contained and minimal example in order to avoid speculations and guesswork.

These margins seem rather large to me. For example, in a document with text at 11pt this would mean that your top margin shall be 511.7pt, which is about 7.1in in a more common scale unit.

Best regards and welcome to the board
