LyX ⇒ LyX PayPal donation URL is invalid

When going to https://www.lyx.org/Donate, entering an amount on PayPal and clicking “continue”, it results in the following error: “Things don't appear to be working at the moment. Please try again later.”

I'm trying to pay since I mention LyX in my latest essay:

What if I paid for all my free software?
I've always felt guilty by taking for granted the rare breed of virtuous humans that provide free excellent software without relying on advertising. Let's change that and pay, how much would I “lose” anyway?
