I have made a comparative study of the quality between Microsoft Word and Lyx.
I wrote the same document in Word and Lyx 2.0.6 and wrote in a pdf file.
When I had open the two documents and zoom them at 1600% the quality of the pdf made in word is much greater than the pdf made in Lyx.
One of the main reason to choose lyx is the quality.
Where is the quality here? I am thinking to leave Lyx.

Re: Why LyX?
You might be using a bitmap font. See for example, here:

But you might just want to choose Word instead. You will have to google something once and ask for help once in a while to figure out LaTeX/LyX and if that makes you uncomfortable then Word/Libre Office might be a better fit for you.
As far as quality, LaTeX/LyX is better than Word/Libre Office.

Re: Why LyX?
Thanks a lot.
I'd changed the predetermined font with the Latin Modern fonts and the pdf result is ¡PERFECT!. (Document > Settings > Fonts > Roman > Latin Modern Roman, etc...)
When you create new documents in LyX the font that the program choose are 'Computer Modern Roman/Sans/Mono' and not the 'Latin Modern Roman/Sans/Mono'
Now other question: How I can change this initial 'Computer Modern' fonts by the 'Latin Modern' ones, and not document by document?

I have found it.
When you change this fonts in your document, there is a check box: use as predetermined in all documents.
Thank you.

Why LyX?
A big THANK YOU to all the LyX developers. LyX introduced me to the LaTeX world 3 years ago.
Nowadays, I feel comfortable using LaTeX itself (TeXstudio). But whenever I have the choice, I do my writing in LyX: everytime I feel so pleased with al the benefits I get.
Since I learned LaTeX itself, the LyX-window with the source code is constantly open: it helps me understand (and appreciate) both LyX and LaTeX.
Maybe a tip for non native English writers (like myself, but you noticed that already ): since a few months I use the LyX-GUI in English, even when writing in Dutch. This makes the relation between LyX and LaTeX a lot clearer!
