Cannot install MiKTeX 2.9

Postby peterspauli » Sun Nov 24, 2013 2:52 pm

Hello,

I am using Windows 7 64 and have made numerous, unsuccessful attempts to install MiKTeX 2.9 and am getting very frustrated. I have attached my log report of errors for your reference.

I have done some troubleshooting for a fouled installation of MiKTeX 2.9, but cannot seem to find the successful answer.
I alway did the installation as administrator.

Please help.

Thanks,
Peter

Hi Peter,

welcome to the forum!

You could give TeX Live 2013 a try. It can be installed over the Internet. The installation is pretty easy too. I was using MiKTeX earlier and switched to TeX Live, and I'm very satisfied with it.
