how to color the name of section?

Postby fritteille » Sun Sep 06, 2015 7:07 am

Hi there!
The template "medium-length-professional" is super, I was looking exactly for that.
I was just wondering: Is it possible to color the name for each section? I tried various things but nothing worked.
Thank you very much.

Place the following right before \begin{document}.
  1. \usepackage{xcolor}
  2. \colorlet{sectioncolor}{blue!70!black}
  3. \renewenvironment{rSection}[1]{ % 1 input argument - section name
  4. \sectionskip
  5. \begingroup
  6. \color{sectioncolor}
  7. \MakeUppercase{\bfseries#1} % Section title
  8. \endgroup
  9. \sectionlineskip
  10. \hrule % Horizontal line
  11. \begin{list}{}{ % List for each individual item in the section
  12. \setlength{\leftmargin}{1.5em} % Margin within the section
  13. }
  14. \item[]
  15. }{
  16. \end{list}
  17. }
The smart way: Calm down and take a deep breath, read posts and provided links attentively, try to understand and ask if necessary.

Just move the \endgroup below the \hrule.
