Boxed text in beamer

Postby asafw » Wed Jun 21, 2017 2:32 am

Hi there,

What is the simplest way to get a centered box with text inside? I am currently using a "block" environment, but this has no frame..

Thanks a lot!
Asaf

H Asaf,

do you mean like this?

  1. \documentclass{beamer}
  2. \usetheme{Warsaw}
  3. \begin{document}
  4. \begin{frame}
  5. \begin{center}
  6. \begin{minipage}{4cm}
  7. \begin{block}{}
  8. This is my centered text
  9. \end{block}
  10. \end{minipage}
  11. \end{center}
  12. \end{frame}
  13. \end{document}

There is a frame. It depends on the theme, of cause.
