Move Page Number for only Part of Document

Postby twofour » Sun Aug 05, 2012 9:02 pm

Does anyone know how to move page number, e.g. from center to right, for only part of a document? I am using the standard book shell and trying to move page numbers for mainmatter only. I realize that package fancyhdr only works for the whole doc.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

From the typographical point of view not a good idea.

The package allows to define several page styles. Its manual shows how to do that.
