Derivatives in Beamer

Postby cgnieder » Mon Sep 11, 2017 7:38 pm

This seems to be the same problem as the here: fontspec/mathspec ruins my parentheses with beamer. The solution outlined there works here as well:

  1. % arara: xelatex
  2. \documentclass{beamer}
  3.
  4. \AtBeginDocument{%
  5. \DeclareSymbolFont{pureletters}{T1}{lmss}{\mddefault}{it}%
  6. }
  7.
  8. \begin{document}
  9. \begin{frame}
  10. \[
  11. f'(x).
  12. \]
  13. \end{frame}
  14. \end{document}

AFAIK it is not a good idea to use fontenc with XeLaTeX.
