I cant see some of my words after compiling

Postby polovcev » Sat Dec 10, 2016 2:19 pm

Hi guys,

I am new here and a beginner with Latex too, and naturally I have a problem. I am using Texmaker 4.5 and when I am writing some of my sentences are hollow. There are still there, but after i compile the text, they are not visible on the pdf side.

I would be thankful for any help.

Hi and welcome,

have you checked the log-file? Are there any errors are warnings around? Can you see the sentences with another viewer?

Can you create a minimal compiling working example, so we can reproduce the issue?
The smart way: Calm down and take a deep breath, read posts and provided links attentively, try to understand and ask if necessary.

Thanks for the help.

I have recreited the document and I find the problem. Somehow after the "%" everything goes hollow. The next sentence is normal, then again the same thing.

Do you now why is using "%" is a problem?

The percent sign is the comment starter in any LaTeX file, which should be mentioned in every LaTeX introductioin. Maybe you should read one.

If you need to typeset the percent sign, use \%, or even better: Make use of package siunitx.
