LaTeX is great for so many things, but I don't think it would worth your time to try to do it using the program. There are so many templates already in existence. Check out this http://teach.fcps.net/trt2/links/powerpointgames.htm for many different presentations.

Those templates would require to buy Microsoft PowerPoint or Microsoft Office (and possibly also Windows).

I think it's a good idea to think about templates for free software, such as LaTeX and beamer, and if they don't exist to create them. Very high quality is possible, and real document control, the usual benefits of LaTeX in general. I keep in mind to use and to support free software. If we wouldn't have free software available, commercial software could be even made more expensive without that competition.

It is not unreasonable to think that people have Powerpoint on their computers. In addition to having google and open office as other free pieces of software. Designing a powerpoint that extensive using Beamer would be very difficult for people to do. I was providing a solid alternative where you can get the powerpoint free of charge and edit the document quickly to meet your needs
