Add a wrapfig button

Postby nich » Sun Aug 15, 2010 9:04 am

Hi all,

I need to use figures on the right or left hand side of the page with text wrapped around them quite a bit. Is there a way to a a button to Texnic center which will activate the macro to put in the all of the wrapfig code?

I am also confused about how I activte the macro:

Texnic center help says that this macro puts in the desired code but I am not sure how to actually execute this macro (or any macro).

Any help greatly appreciated

Somehow I can't follow you. I don't understand what TeXnicCenter (TXC) shall do for you to get whatever code working. I have no problem with the sample below.
  1. \documentclass[11pt,a4paper,english]{article}
  2. \usepackage[T1]{fontenc}
  3. \usepackage[utf8]{inputenc}
  4. \usepackage{babel}
  5. \usepackage[includeheadfoot,margin=2cm]{geometry}
  6. \usepackage[font=small,labelfont=bf,tableposition=top]{caption}
  7. \usepackage{wrapfig}
  8. \usepackage{blindtext}
  10. \begin{document}
  11. \begin{wrapfigure}{r}{8cm}
  12. \centering
  13. \rule{6.4cm}{3.6cm}
  14. \caption{Dummy figure with \textsf{wrapfig}}\label{fig:dummy}
  15. \end{wrapfigure}
  17. \blindtext[2]
  18. \end{document}

For the present you may use the button for inserting a figure environment and then supplement it to an according environment of the wrapfig package.
