How to create a forum with Latex tools?

Postby queroserouronaimo » Sat Oct 23, 2010 12:07 am

Hi, everybody!

Me and other friends want to create a forum, for solving problems.
Just to create a forum is really easy, but how can we include Latex tools in the created forum? Can someone help us?

Glad!

Hi,

there are many places on the net wher LaTeX questions can be raised, discussed and solved. There are mailing lists (different languages), der are news groups (different languages), there are forums (like this one) there are question & answer sites (like our partner TeXwelt.de).

If you really want to start your own project thats cool, but my question would be: What kind of LaTeX-tools are you looking for?
  1. \documentclass{article}
  2. \begin{document}
  3. hello new forum
  4. \end{document}

We have a feature that our code blocks can be opened and compiled at writelatex.com. Some sites related to math can render (La)TeX input to the nice looking output, but dealing with TeX (code) problems, we want to see the code.

Another thing you need to think about is the licence for the contents of your site.
The smart way: Calm down and take a deep breath, read posts and provided links attentively, try to understand and ask if necessary.
