Footnote minipage

Postby DelaRiva » Tue May 09, 2017 11:41 pm

Hi,

I need to arrange texts besides of graphics which works quite fine. But I also need to set footnotes - but at the bottom of the page and not at the bottom of/within the minipage/box.
Is this somehow doable?

Thank you in advance a lot!

Welcome to the forum!

I use LaTeX, not LyX as frontend, so I did not answer yet. I would use the commands \footnotemark and \footnotetext for placing normal footnotes in a minipage. There should be an equivalent in LyX.

However, instead of a minipage, you could use \parbox or a tabular environment for placing text besides graphics.
