Texmaker and TeXstudio ⇒ Texmaker document compiles, editor does not update pdf.

Hi all,

I have a very annoying recurring error. some of the documents I compile make TexMaker go nut and the pdf preview does not update properly.
There are no errors on the log file and the pdf is properly compiled or updated.
It does always happens and sometimes in document which was not affected you just remove a typo and then it breaks again.

I suspect it related on how the preview is managed in TexMaker but I have no experience on how the process works.

Can you assist me into this mess ?

I'm using
TexMaker 5.1.3,
LuaHBTeX, Version 1.15.0 (TeX Live 2022) (format=lualatex 2022.9.17)
Ubuntu 20.04.5 LTS
